Welcome to Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi country and the wonderful town of Dagun.
Dagun was originally the name for the Dagun Railway Station and was named by the Railway Department on 22 January 1914. The area around the station at that time was farmland and produce was sent by rail.
The Dagun State Primary School opened on 18 June 1924 and the Dagun Post Office was opened on 1 June 1925 and closed in 1975.
